Cancellations, Facilities & Activities:
Please wear a face mask at all times in all public buildings on the site while staying in River Valley.
River Valley is re- opening based on government guidelines and will adhere to the social distancing measures at all times. All guests will be required to follow the measures set out by the government while visiting our holiday park, and children will need to stay with their guardians at all times.
Our “Camping Area” on the park will open at a reduced capacity. There will be social distancing in Toilet and Shower blocks with hand sanitizer available entering and exiting each block. Please social distance in these areas especially if you have to queue. Remember we are trying to ensure the safety of everyone on the site but this will mean that going to bathrooms will be a slower process.
All onsite activities that can maintain social distancing will also reopen (Crazy golf, Archery, Pedal Go karts, Footgolf, Remote controlled cars and boats, Tennis and one family at a time in the Badminton hall). Equipment will be cleaned after use so that it is safe for the next customer. However, to make it easier we would ask that you book your time slot in the office before heading to these different areas. We will also have Flanagan’s walk with the Alpaca and deer and kids club which this year due to Covid – 19 guidelines must be held outside. This means it will be weather dependent. (Please also book for this in the office.)
Activities which we cannot do on site due to the Covid – 19 guidelines will include: Flanagan’s train, Indoor Football and basketball, Table tennis, Airsoft Shooting, Pool tables, Movie Nights, Kiddies Disco and Kids Art and Crafts.
The ice pack freezing facility will be closed due to Covid 19.
Mickey Finn’s Restaurant will open with reduced capacity when allowed in line with Government guidelines. Food will also be served in The Wicklow Brewery next door and Mickey Finn’s Collect will be available to order online www.wicklowbrewery.ie and dine in your own accommodation. As outdoors is the safest place, we are opening Mickey Finn’s BBQ from Thursday to Sunday for some sunny alfresco dining. Wicklow Brewery will be running Brewery tours along with Government guidelines. To book please log on to www.wicklowbrewery.ie
The Policy of the park in relation to Covid 19 is that if the Government closes the park due to a lock down or if you are unable to come as your county has been restricted, then a full refund is given or we can transfer your booking to a later date. We do ask though that you notify us as soon as possible in either circumstance by email so that we can sort out your booking as soon as possible.
If for any other reason you need to cancel then the usual terms and conditions on the website apply under “Important please read before you book”.
