Badminton
Badminton is an Olympic sport that can draw out the competitive spirit from everyone. It is excellent for increasing your level of fitness and takes stamina, strength, and speed. Its incredibly enjoyable and fun for all ages. River Valley has two courts available to hire by the hour @ €5.00 and Badminton Racquets available to hire @ €1.00 each.
Pool tables
The Pool Room is open from 6pm every evening. Pool is different from snooker in that it is played on a smaller table with bigger pockets. So come and try your skill! €10.00 refundable deposit on cues and white Ball in office. €1.00 for each game into the table. Table tennis also available.
Indoor Football
Dribbling, kicking, passing, marking, tackling, heading, and hopefully scoring!! All the techniques of the beautiful game are taught every evening in the hall for one hour. Suitable for children aged 5 - 12 years of age. Pre-booking – sessions can be pre-booked. Price per child for one hour is €2.50. Hall is available for adults to hire outside the hours of 6 - 8 pm.
Indoor Basketball
Ireland is a proud and committed member of the European basketball community and at any given time is represented by as many as ten national basketball teams. How do you and your family feel about hiring a full basketball court for an hour and enjoy the thrill of shooting those baskets?
